Board Actions - Board of County Commissioners Regular Meeting April 23, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. The Board unanimously approved a motion to approve the following meeting minutes: i. Board of County Commissioner Regular Meeting, March 26, 2024 ii. Board of County Commissioner Workshop Meeting, February 20, 2024 The Board unanimously approved the Mental Health Awareness Month (Proclamation 2024-037) The Board unanimously approved the Historic Preservation Month (Proclamation 2024-038) The Board unanimously set the date for the second public hearing of Rezone (REZ23-000008) “Pepper” (Ordinance 2024-009) for May 14, 2024. The Board unanimously approved the Remit Payment to Georgia Pacific with a correction to the amount to $3,915,467.00. The Board unanimously approved the Bid Award 24-09 Roof Replacement at the Crescent City Library, $58,833.00. The Board unanimously approved the FDOT Supplemental #1 – Additional Funding to Cover Partial CEI Costs Segment 2 St. Johns Ave Palm Ave to CSX Project, $114,772.00 (Resolution 2024-039 & 2024-040) The Board re-appointed Julie Masters to the Value Adjustment Board for a term set to expire on August 1, 2025. The Board unanimously passed a motion to automatically appoint the current Chairman and ViceChairman to the Value Adjustment Board. The Board passed a motion to move forward and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the Memorial Bridge Lighting Project agreement. (Vote 3-2) The Board unanimously approved the Evaluation and Appraisal Report. The Board unanimously approved the Termination of St. Johns Ave Multi Use Trail grant agreement. Commissioner Wilkinson appointed Bill Thompson, Jack Gasson, Ken Paxton, Jerry Rhine and Tom Wooster to the St. Johns Harbor MSBU to serve a term for one year.
