The objectives of the club are to provide a forum for Republicans to educate voters about issues affecting our county and develop ways members can contribute. A priority we have is to support and elect all duly nominated Republican candidates in the General Election.
The Putnam Republican Club Received its Conditional Charter in November 2014 with 11 Charter members. A General Charter was granted in March 2015. Membership in 2019 reached 100 members, in 2022 it reached 150.

Rhonda Drackett Williams was born in St. Augustine, Florida in 1958, attended local schools, Flagler College and graduated from the St. Augustine law enforcement academy with the “Top Gun” award. Rhonda was employed by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and the Municipal Service District of Ponte Vedra Law Enforcement Department as a certified law enforcement officer before entering the health care administration field in 1990. She has worked for major companies such as Humana and Bay Medical Sacred Heart Health System where she was steadily promoted from entry level jobs to executive positions. For most of the last 30 years, she’s been self-employed and is a highly sought-after professional in her field.
Ms. Williams is the founder of Health Care Consultants LLC, a health care administration consulting company helping state governments and insurance carriers to build health insurance programs to meet the needs of their clients. Before devoting her work full-time to Health Care Consultants, she served for many years as Senior Vice President of another company in which she had ownership, Community Health Solutions of America.
In addition to being a consultant, Rhonda volunteers her time as a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at Federal Point, is an advisor to the Episcopal Bishop of Florida, and a volunteer with Bataan Missing helping to locate family members of WWII prisoners of war who died in the Philippines during or after the Bataan Death March. Rhonda moved to Putnam County in 2005 where she became involved in politics including an unsuccessful run for county commissioner in 2020. She lives in East Palatka with her devoted husband, Tim Williams (retired) and their furry babies, Gretchen, AJ and Boo. They enjoy entertaining their six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends at their home. Telephone: 386-984-1659
Vice President: Yoma Goodhue
My journey has been anything but traditional. Born and raised in Miami, a child of the turbulent "60s", influenced by Cuban refugees fleeing Cuba, Leaders being assassinated, Civil Rights movement and VietNam.
At 16 I left home for NYC, Boston, Maine, Va., W.Va., Ca. Then back to Boston where I became a Painter, residential, commercial and construction. A young woman in a world of men, I was able to prove I could do the job and earn their respect. I worked on many projects over the years, such as hospitals, banks, military bases and some notable landmarks such as the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood FL for 3 years and the La Choncha Hotel in Key West.
My favorite though was Custom Homes.
I landed here in 2000 when I helped my Dad move from Vermont to Satsuma. I thought no way I'm staying, well my Dad passed away in 2013 and I'm still here 21 years later.
I worked for a couple of contractors, then I answered a little ad in the paper for a painter. Dr. Will the Admin of Lakewood Nursing Center hired me, for the next 9 years I worked for Lakewood and Crestwood. Next stop Taylor Residences in Jax. for 2 years.
I retired and went to AED at SJRC at age of 63 and earned my GED. I then attended FCTC Applied Welding course for over a year.
What brought me to the Republican Party? The need to do something, the fear of Communism "aggressive/progressives", children being indoctrinated and not educated, the need to fight for our Rights and Liberties.
I am proud to serve as your Vice President alongside an incredible and capable group of women. 2022 will be the most significant year in politics, it's gonna take All of us working Together. God Bless America! 386 983-9238 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Treasurer: LaurIe Andrews
A native to Putnam county, I was born, raised and live in beautiful Palatka. Married to Jim Andrews, going on our 36th year, we are proud parents of two adult children. I earned a Bachelors of Business Management from Saint Leo University. I worked mostly within the healthcare industry with a focus on Marketing & Business Development for companies to include Shands UF, PCMC, and contracts with the US Department of Corrections. I registered Republican at the age of 18, a rarity in Putnam County back then, and have voted likewise in every Presidential election. Politics was generally a personal matter for me up until recent events. I now feel the need to be an advocate for conservative values and a voice to defend our constitutional rights! I am looking forward to a new and impactful year for the Republican Party and am honored to serve as the club treasurer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at 386-937-8624!
Secretary: Ann Crawford
I was born in St. Clair, Michigan and joined a great big happy family of eleven and I made the perfect dozen. I graduated from school and immediately headed for Sarasota, Florida. Went back to Michigan for two years and then back to Florida working for IBM.
After having children, I went to work part-time for the Orlando Panthers semi-pro Football Team. After the season ended, I began working for their team doctor (Orthopaedic Surgeon) as his office manager. I then went on to a large practice in Orlando specializing in opening Branch Offices. In 1999 we moved to Franklin, NC and I began working at Lowe's as a Credit Manager. In 2015, we decided to be halfbacks and buy a place in Palatka. I finally had the opportunity to volunteer in politics. During the 2016 election, I had the privilege of working at the Republican Headquarters and was so happy when the candidates we worked for won their races. In 2020, I also worked at the Headquarters and was disappointed when our President lost his race. I have since joined the Republican Club and the REC and am looking forward to do whatever it takes to win back our Congress and Senate, including our local races.
Personally, I enjoy biking, walking, hiking, singing, reading and playing the piano for my church. Thank you for electing me as the Republican Club Secretary.
